Meet Jason D. Kinkartz, MD

Jason Kinkartz, M.D. is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. He provides care in our new Conyers location in Rockdale County. His practice involves operative and non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal injuries in patients aging from adolescents to the elderly, and from the inactive to the professional athlete. After a thorough evaluation in clinic to determine a patient’s problem, a non-operative approach to treatment is typically formulated. If this is unsuccessful, a discussion of surgical treatment options may follow, if appropriate.

Dr. Kinkartz specializes in minimally invasive surgery, including shoulder and knee arthroscopy, to repair or replace ligaments, tendons, cartilage, or other damaged structures using the latest scientifically proven techniques. Dr. Kinkartz also performs innovative cartilage repair and restoration procedures, joint replacements, fracture stabilization, and complex and revision surgeries. When needed, he also uses specialized, patient-specific, customized surgical implants and guides to optimize patient outcomes.

Meet W. Jeff Shi, MD

Dr.Jeff W. Shi is a a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction. In addition to treating patients with general orthopedic conditions, Dr. Shi specializes in total joint replacement and reconstructive surgery with a focus on total joint arthroplasty. He is particularly interested in total and partial hip and knee replacements and robotic total joint replacements.

Dr. Shi is trained in the most up to date and cutting-edge procedures to maximize results and minimize downtime for patients while focusing on the best patient outcome. Dr. Shi is a MAKO, Velys, and ROSA robotics certified operator and specializes in minimally invasive surgery and same day discharge. Dr. Shi looks forward to positively impacting his patients’ lives, helping his patients return to an active lifestyle, and being the upmost patient advocate.
